Alia Skin Care is a Sicilian cosmetics line born in Trapani in 2017, with the aim of enhancing the resources and traditions of Sicily, through the creation of effective, natural cosmetics and with quality raw materials.
Its creator, Dr. Debora Pollina, wanted to combine three elements in a single project: her passion for natural cosmetics, academic training and love for her land of origin, Sicily.

Debora Pollina is the creator of the natural cosmetics line Alia Skin Care, originally from Trapani, graduated in Science and Technology of Cosmetic and Herbal Products and subsequently in Pharmacy at the University of Ferrara in 2012.
She has been actively involved for several years in the natural cosmetics and food supplement sector, first with Italian companies in the sector and subsequently through its natural cosmetics project Alia Skin Care.
Since 2017 he has also been a cosmetology teacher at training institutes for wellness and health operators.
He deals personally and with great passion with the development of formulas which he considers as "his creatures".

In creating the products of the Sicilian cosmetics line Alia Skin Care, we aim to create effective and high-quality formulas.The high concentration of plant extracts makes Alia Skin Care a functional, eudermic and skin-friendly line of natural cosmetics.Ingredients such as the essential oils of Sicilian citrus fruits, for example, offer an unforgettable olfactory sensorial experience.
Each product is the result of study, research and laboratory tests, and is born from the love for the scents and materials of the Sicilian territory: creating a new product for Alia Skin Care means giving life to a journey, with a unique path and characteristics .
La natura scientifica delle formule
Ali skin care natural cosmetics are born from careful scientific research to guarantee the consumer the highest quality.
The formulas are developed with respect for the environment, without petrolatum, parabens, GMOs, SLES/SLE, silicones, synthetic perfumes and animal derivatives. In the research and development area we evaluate new raw materials, verify product stability, new packaging materials and their compatibility with the cosmetic product itself.
We measure the chemical-physical parameters of each cosmetic product: density, viscosity, pH, to verify the qualitative-quantitative characterization. Each formula is stressed both mechanically and thermodynamically to predict its chemical stability and shelf life.
Finally, the formulas are subjected to specific microbiological tests (including the challenge test). We operate respecting the environment, the legal requirements that protect it and in compliance with the requirements specified by the UNI EN ISO 9001: 2009 standard.

The quality and naturalness of the raw materials is a common feature of the entire Alia Skin Care line of natural cosmetics.
From the lush and sunny olive grove of our property, for example, comes the fine extra virgin olive oil that we use in our formulations.
Alia Skin Care also invests in the valorisation of the Sicilian territory, to select the best local raw materials.

Another collaboration, born in Trapani with the ceramist Giuliana Cordio of the "Di cotte e di Crude" laboratory, has allowed us to enhance the artistic form of painting on majolica through our products.
The Sicilian cosmetics line Alia Skin Care is born from the harmony of different but complementary elements: the purity of the plant extracts is based on the scientific research of specific formulas, while the tradition of Sicilian majolica is combined with a modern and elegant packaging design.
